Au gratin is a French style of cooking where breadcrumbs and butter are placed on top of a casserole of any type and browned under the broiler to give the top a nice crunch. Cheese in au gratin topping is not a requirement, even if it is delicious. You can make an au gratin dish without cheese simply with breadcrumbs and dots of butter.
Cauliflower cheese is traditionally a British dish. The dish consist of cauliflower, a cheddar cheese sauce, a Bechamel sauce flavored with cheese, English mustard, nutmeg and breadcrumbs.

Flour the chook Egg the floured chook Then push the floured and egged chook into the breadcrumbs. You can repeat as many times as you want to thicken the crumb coating. Try seasoning the breadcrumbs with some parseman cheese and the flour with salt and pepper. Delish!
it depends on how much breadcrumbs you will consume
Try adding breadcrumbs to the top of a macaroni and cheese casserole or mixing chopped bell pepper into your traditional mac and cheese for a unique flavor.
