Answer 1Many people are influenced by the media into believing that all Muslims mean harm, and want to upset the peace. However Islam itself is a very peaceful religion that preaches love and respect for all. The small group of extremists that ruin this are pasted all over the headlines. The media implies that all Muslims follow suit, that they all act in the same destructive manner. Thankfully this is not true.Many Muslims, the ones that follow the true teaching of Islam are pure of heart and abide by the law of their country, at the same time respecting their own Islamic teachings.So to answer your question no, not all Muslims are bad just as not all Christians or Jews are bad. The issue primarily comes from the way that Islam is still practiced in this day and age and how Muslims themselves are uncritical of the practices of their religion. Muslim leaders, even in Western countries, tend not to espouse Western values, such as seeking increased police protection for possible honor killing victims, seeking prohibition of female genital mutilation, and condoning the creation of "Shari'a Police" to enforce Islamic norms. The passivity of the majority of the Islamic community in regards to these actions is problematic, but does not make the people bad, only inactive. By contrast, in personal relationships, you will often find that Muslims are quite reasonable, funny, and "normal" people.
