Outward
Rocks in the crust are put under a pulling stress, or tensile stress, when tectonic plates are moving apart from one another. A good example of this is the Rift Valley in Africa.
outward
divergent plate boundaries are associated with normal faulting. Thus there is a horizontal least compressive stress, vertical most compressive stress and a intermediate horizontal stress. All stresses are orthoganal to each other.
The outward appearance is called the phenotype
for me, pulling pranks is a way to get back at the people who caused the stress. teachers, school bully.

Centrifugal force doesn't exist, and no outward-pulling force is caused by rotating an object.
A combination of gravity (pulling inward in all directions) and centrifugal force from rotation (pulling outward at the equator) produces a spheroidal shape.
It is bored, under stress or needs more attention from you.
The official name for hair pulling is Trichotilomania. It seems as stress is a trigger for pulling one's hair. If one is searching for treatment, a medical professional would be the one to talk to to stop hair pulling.
Tension: The curve of the arch and its ability to force the presser outward reduces the 'pulling apart' effect on the bottom of the bridge.

If you are pulling it forward to make the light come on....try pushing outward...
pull top 2 Philips screws once these are removed you must pry gently with fingers ,there are friction pins that hold assembly in place and you must work assembly back and forth while pulling . once assembly removed , turnn bad bulb assembly counter clockwise 1/4 turn while pushing inward . once done pull outward on assembly and remve. most bulbs remove by pulling strait outward ! instassation reverse !
Elasticity is a type of strain that is recoverable, it is not a force. However it is caused by an imposed force which generates a stress below the yield strength of a material. If the force is pulling or stretching a material it is known as a tensile force or stress.
