It's just called jumping. The Jumping shows are called Show Jumping, and then Hunter-Jumper. From what I have heard, Show Jumping is based on speed and focuses more on the horse than the rider. Hunter-Jumper is about the rider.
If it is a championship class or a eqitation it is respectable to but other wise no
Hunter Jumper, Jumpers (like timing), eventers= cross country, and Show Jumping
It depends on the show. I believe 18 in.
English pleasure, western pleasure, show jumping, hunter jumping, Hunter Under saddle, Roping, barrel racing, Cutting, reining, dressage, cross country, and much much more!
It's easy. if you are a member of a pony club, your pony club will pick a team to jump for that club. so if you would like to enter a show jumping event as a pony club rider, just ask if you could try out for the team. if you are'nt a pony club member, you will have to enter as an individual. you will need to find out when and where the event is on by yourself, and enter yourself aswell.
it is like a show, but mabye not as competitive. Examples of rallies are: Show Jumping Rally (show jumping) Dressage Rally (dressage) Quiz Rally (horse knowledge) Eventing Rally (Cross Country, Show jumping, and Dressage) Tratalion (or something like that. I think it involves running, swimming, shooting and riding) Polocross (I think pony club does this) Games Rally (the names says it all!)
A Hunter.-------------------------A horse that is used for Show Jumping is called either a Jumper or a Show Jumper.-------------------------------This would be an english ridden horse. "Show Jumper" is the horse. Show Jumping would be the competition it competes in.
