==new answer== We are approaching the age of intuition, being currently in the age of reasoning. Both precede enlightenment which is sujective to the individual. At the present time, more and more elements are coming into play that will aid each individual in their own evolution of consciousness. Enlightenment as a stage was reached by many including Jesus and Bhudda. There are a few on the planet now who are probably pretty close. No, I'm not one of them. give me a couple of days. Anytime you come to an additional understanding, you have added enlightnenment.

There is only one supreme being called by many names. Our origin was light. We are light at the source, or I Am, again different names for this too depending on which holy work you refer to. I Am exists above and beyond mind. Mind is the vehicle for enlightenment that light uses for experience. We are to grow up to be compatible to our creator. The stage of growth after intuition is God-man, which requires full experience and understanding in all seveln levels of mind. The key to beginning to understand the whole process is to get acquainted with the universal language of mind. In this language, you can read any major holy work and get the correct pictures. It removes the conflicts.
