The main thing is Starvation. If you eat any of the Amish Diet and don't exercise like the Amish you will be Fat. They have good food and know how to cook up a big meal.

Breakfast is one of the biggest. Lots of Fat and they may even still use Lard. Potatoes fried in Lard make great home fries. All their food is reasonable to make and always tastes to good to stop eating.

An Amish Diet is not for Loosing weight but the hard work that they do on the farm is great for loosing weight.
