c280's have the capability to go for several thousand miles 200k or more. However, some maintenance items that often require attention include: Power Steering pump may need to be re-sealed rebuilt, headgasket may or may not require changing depending on driving habits. These may be changed around 150k- on some cars it lasts much longer. The nice thing about the c280 is that all parts are very serviceable and if you find a mechanic to work with you, you can order parts online very inexpensively- azautohaus is a great place to shop fyi (free shipping). I have owned my 1995 c280 for 22k and it'd been a great car. With proper maintenence it should last a long time. The inline six featured by the 1995 model is generally considered to be stronger than the later v6 in some of the 1998 and on cars.
I have C280 1995, the battery has two years and it is ok. It is important how often you start and use the accessories of the car. The continuos stop and start the engine is the worst for the life of the battery. Sometimes, the last is a matter of luck.
15 years
If you are worried about that, then you probably should buy a honda.ANS 2 -With average driving and changing pads as soon as required, I would expect Mercedes rotors to last as long as the car (or at least 20 years.)
my 1995 Civic has 441,000 miles on the original trans and motor. but most last about 350k to 375k easy.
