Bengal Tiger is primarily in India and Banglaesh. Due to the passing of the Forest Rights Act by the Indian Governement in 2006. The evidence of Indian tiger has pushed the tiger to the brink of extinction. Finding one in the wild will be very rare. Zoo's might be the only place to find them.

There are many more tigers in captivity than in the wild. There are only around 3900 wild tigers, occuring in six extant subspecies. In captivity there are over 9000 tigers in the United States alone. The problem is, only about 60% of these captive tigers are purebred, meaning many are hybrids, with Bengal/Siberian tiger mixes being most common.
