fmf gold series FATTY
2stroke has fat pipe and the 4stroke has a skinny pipe.
If you look at the side of the bike there is a pipe that leads to the exaust pipe. If it is big and bulges out then its a two stroke. if its small and skinny its a four stroke. you can tell by the name to. if its a YZ250 its a two stroke. If its a YZ250F then its a four stroke.
It should be a 200cc Blaster and that would be a 2 stroke. Here is a easy way to tell if a ATV or dirt bike is a 2 or 4 stroke motor........ Look at the exhaust pipe where is comes out of head. If it goes it a really fat pipe it is a 2 stroke like a big bubble. If the pipe stays a small dia. to muffler its a 4 stroke hope this helps. Sorry I see its a Honda a 250R its still a 2 stroke
The Suzuki RM125 is indeed a two stroke. This can be observed by the bulge in the exhaust pipe. This feature is only present on 2-stroke engines.
Yes it is a two stroke But if u want to check the exhaust pipe is thin then it's a four stroke If it is thicker it's a two stroke
if possible take the baffles out of the pipe but just don't run a straight pipe that is not good for your Exhaust Valves
Honda 250x is a four stroke. just look at the header pipe and listen to the sound of the motor
Theres an expansion chamber on the right side of 2-strokes. Its a fat pipe between the front of the engine and the exaust....
its when you have either mixed your oil too rich or you need to ride more on the pipe.
With a pipe bender of course hydraulic would be the best choice
i have an 84 suzuki lt 185 quad, it is 4 stroke. so, "no" to your answer one way to see if something is 4 stroke is look on the engine, if it has ridges it is four stroke these are vents 2 strokes dont need them because they are often liquid cooled. another way to find out is a 2 stroke will have a big head pipe for that added "kick" a two stroke has over a 4 stroke. a two stroke often has a higher pitch (more annoying) noise, where a 4 stroke often has more of a low pitch dull sound to it (its alot more quiet).
The best way to know if an engine is 2-stroke or 4-stroke, is to look for an oil spout. If the engine has an oil spout where oil has to be poured into, it is a 4-stroke. If the engine has no oil spout and the oil has to be added to the fuel, then it is a 2-stroke.
