The Latin/French root dictionary derivation of the word 'renovation' is ('re + new') or 'renew', and this is used in the following Bible verses:- Psa 51:10-12 KJV Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. God is in the renovation business, but He is the Master Renovator. Whereas man uses the words 'renew' or 'restore' to mean making it just like it was originally, when God renovates/renews someone not only are they are better than the original, but the original is forgotten:- Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 2Co 5:17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
