Although I cannot verify this, I have been to Eurofresh in Wilcox ,Arizona and that is one BIG hydroponics greenhouse growing company. I was there many years ago and they had three 40 acres each, greenhouses growing tomatoes back then. I've heard they have constructed more and are growing other vegetables hydroponically. They have (or had, then) tours of this facility.
Yes, its is virtually the same as hydroponic cultivation of the plant but a lot more laid back. Both Hydroponic and Hydrocultured plants are grown is a soil free medium. The difference is that hydroponics allows for optimal maturation of a plant and perfect cloning (propagation via cuttings) by controlling and regulating the nutrients/fertilizer, sunlight, and water exposure. Hydroponics is basically a pretty fish tank with bubbles and a filter whereas hydroculture is a fish bowl.
As hydroponics is a manufactured method of plant growth the nutrients are controled by the person using the method.
Many people dislike hydroponics as they complain that the produce is chemically grown (which it is), and has a watery taste.
No,it is not expensive
Perhaps the thinking here is that sand has no nutritional value and the plant is going to be fed via a solution containing everything the plant could need. The idea is hydroponics, and the media is not usually sand 'cause it's just too heavy and hard to deal with. Inert material that is light and "roomy" is a better choice for hydroponics. because of hydroponics
Hydroponics.
water is essential for every plant. so, no plant will be grow without water, thus the original plants grown using hydroponics,
There are several brand of plant fertilizers that are designed exclussively for hydroponics, like General Hydroponics.
Yes. Hydroponics.
This is called hydroponics.
That depends on the plant type. Also using hydroponics, no soil is needed.
Some plants can be raised in water. It's called hydroponics.
no they do not
what plant has the biggest valcano
It means when you combine two things together ro make a plant and hydroponics.
Yes. Hydroponics is growing without soil, just water, light and nutrients! In fact, a lot of the plants you see for sale at garden centers are grown this way. It is cheaper and more reliable than the traditional ways. Hydroponics seems to be the future. If you are interested, there are many sites available, just search for home hydroponics.
