I see the US as fifty countries and most people think Americans as dumb and absorb themselves in a consumer socity, in my opinion that is wrong but also true in some cases but also true for many other countries although It might be more extreme in some states. Personal opinion from a British citizen, No. The US needs to keep it's troops and resources for Afghanistan and let the UN deal with it. Plus the US could do without angering another Muslim state.
