Molecules are the units that your DNA is made up of. DNA is made up of two groups: purines and pyrimidines (which in turn are made up of thymine, uracil, cytosine, guanine).

DNA is a molecule, a very large and complex molecule .

The rails of a DNA ladder consist of the 2 complementary base pairs bonded by hydrogen. The pairs are Cytosine-Guanine and Adenine-Thymine. These pairs are not separated from each of the pairs. It is always C---------G

A--------T

C------G

A-----T

C---G

A-T

C---G

A----T

C------G

The rails are hydrogen bonds that connect the different base pairs. The base pairs that can be connected with each other are: AT and CG in DNA. In RNA the base pairs that are complements are AU, TA, and CG.

A= Adenine

T= Thymine

G= Guanine

C= Cytosine

U= Uracil

Why does a meniscus make the liquid curve?

The meniscus looks curved because the liquid molecules cling to the sides of the container at the edges, but in the middle the surface "droops" because the molecules are not supported by the sides of the container.
