While facing the engine from the front of the car, it looks like this

1 being closest to the front bumper of the car on the passenger side, 2 being closest to the front bumper of the car on the driver side.
they correspond to the following order on the distributor. C is the center one that doesn't go to a plug.

cylinder 1 connects to distributor 1. it is the same for 2-6 as well.
don't mind the dots before the 1 and 3 i just had to put something there so the picture wouldn't lose it's shape and confuse people.
