for obd1 or obd2? usaully it just means that the o2 sensor is bad and not getting accurate readings therefore making your car run either lean or rich
There are pages and pages of things that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked with a scantool. Then the code can be diagnosed and repaired.
O2 sensor or wiring
It is probably a faulty O2 sensor. But check O2 sensor wiring and connections for damage first.
That is a code for an Oxygen Sensor (O2 sensor). Depending on your model and year it can point to a specific one if it has more than one on the vehicle.
O2 sensor
Depends on what the problem is or what code was set.
Code 12 means the battery has been disconnected recently. Code 21 is an Oxygen Sensor code. Code 55 is fault code display completion code. Even though you have a code for the O2 sensor I would still get a proper diagnosis before you replace the sensor. Wiring and other factors can cause the code to set also.
P0133
It means the oxygen sensor is not giving an input to the PCM. Either a bad O2 sensor or a wiring issue.
