I believe that for 1995 and 1996 ( the last year of the 5.0 L V8 in the F-150 ) the firing order was the same as the 5.8 L ( 1 - 3 - 7 - 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 8 ) The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE # 1 position on the distributor cap faces to the rear and slightly towards the drivers side of the engine The engine cylinders are numbered : passenger side , front to rear , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and drivers side , front to rear , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8
