Two different types of silver dollars were struck in 1921 a Morgan Dollar and a Peace Dollar. On the front of the Morgan dollar above Liberty's head is E PLURIBUS UNUM and circulated coins are valued at $15.00-$19.00. The Peace dollar has the word Liberty above her head and circulated coins are valued at $85.00-$185.00
Although older silver dollars (1794-1935) all have a symbolic bust of Miss Liberty of different types on the front of the coins, no US one dollar coin is called just a "Liberty" dollar neither are the modern dollars (1971 to date) which do not have Miss Liberty on them. By the date 1979 your coin is a Susan B. Anthony dollar and none of the SBA Dollar coins struck for general circulation (except the 1979-P Near Date) have more than face value and none of them were struck in silver. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the Mint have premiums.

No US silver dollars were minted in 1919. Production of silver dollars was suspended at the end of 1904 and not resumed until 1921. If your coin has a picture of Miss Liberty and a sun on the front, please turn it over and check the back. It's a half dollar, not a silver dollar. There's more at the Related Question.
It's either not Kennedy, not a silver dollar, and/or not 1935. JFK was still in high school in 1935.
