1918
No way to tell from a serail number alone- and you DO realize there is more than one model of Enfield rifle?
Jan 1919
Seerial numbers are not unique to only one rifle. The year of manufacture is frequently stamped on the metal band at the wrist, or the left side of the receiver, depending on which MODEL Lee Enfield you have.
THE W MEANS IT WAS MADE BY WINCHESTER, MAYBE A MODEL 1914 303 BRITISH RIFLE, THE MODEL WAS THE YEAR THEY STARTED TO MAKE THEM,VALUE $200 MAX
I can say that Winchester made a total of 545,511 model of 1917 enfield rifles for the U.S. goverment from 1917-1919.I would say your rifle was made in 1918.
model number is always smaller than serial
e The serial number you listed is not a Model 58 serial number. the serial number starts with an "S"
You can not tell the model number with just the serial number.
is that the serial number of a model A ford ?? or firearms ?? If a firearm, who made it and what is the model ????
Virtually impossible to tell a model from just the serial number.
No way to tell model number from just the serial number.
Determining the model from just the serial number is virtually impossilbe.
