THE MODEL NUMBER DOES NOT MATCH ANY MARKSMAN I HAVE EVER SEEN. IF THAT NUMBER IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LOWER TANG NEAR THE STOCK MOUNTING SCREW IT IS A SERIAL NUMBER NOT A MODEL NUMBER.
The "236" has to do with a parts number or production date. It is not a serial number in the usual sense. I own more than 100 of the Stevens "boys rifles," and every one of them bears a three-digit number -- not likely I would have that many low-serial-number rifles. (Wish I did!)
He's 5'7" in height and approx. 198 lbs.
If you have the box and papers, it is valued at approx. $750 as of today. Without the box and papers, probably around $675.
About $100, depending on condition. Can't tell year range without more info.

approx 1100 to 1200 in 2014

I have a Stevens Model 940E,it has a 410 sleave in the gun . It is able to shot 410 as will as it shots 12 gauge when the 410 sleave is taken out. I've had a few guys look at it, they all say they had not seen one before. Is the sleave made for this gun by stevens? ,,
5 wood 19 degrees approx 7 wood 23 degrees approx 9 wood 27 degrees approx 11 wood 31 degrees approx every company has there own idea of what an 11 wood should be, but 30-32 degress is approx
I wish I knew the answer to this as well as I have the same gun. The only thing I can offer is that it should be noted that it has an octagonal barrel and a falling block/breech, and most importantly the patent date is April 17, 1894 NOT April 1794. J Stevens A & T was only in business between about 1886 and 1914 approx. this is wreckmaster96739, i have in my possesion a j Stevens a and t co. u s patent apr. 1794,it's a 22 long rifle ser. # 40279. it was my grandfather's grandfarther's gun. I'm courious what the value is.
That depends upon the vehicle and gear. In my company "car" (a 40' coach with a 12litre diesel engine) in top it is approx 1200rpm; in the next gear down it is approx 1500 rpm. In my car (with a 1.8litre diesel engine) in top it is approx 2000 rpm; in the next gear down it is approx 2600rpm.
45000
The Sears Ranger 12 gauge model 102.25 was made by Stevens Arms Company and designed by Browning. 100% grade would put the value at approx. $200.00 if it was a Stevens. Less to some buyers if they are not attracted to the Sears marketing of the same gun. I personally think you would be safe at $150.00 for a nice used gun that has most of the bluing and the wood is in good condition. These guns are very trustworthy and are very dependable. A real shooters shotgun.
