(just to let you know, you can pick a background in the right area) Then put send at the top when you are done.
Drafts are an area of storage where an email is being written but has not been finished or sent. If you close down most "good" email programs when you have typed a message and not sent it, the message will be stored in your "drafts" folder. To resume editing, just open up the message, finish whatever needs to be done and send it.
Those arrows show up when an email is reforwarded, and have no meaning other than they are just junk. If you edit the email to clean it up (remove all those email addresses, etc) you can also delete the > characters. I usually copy the whole message to a new document on my PC, do a replace of > with nothing for the "with" and have it replace all. I've had as many as 200 > deleted this way. Then I take this cleaned up text and paste it into a new email, and send a nice clean message. You can edit an email message if you reply or forward it - in this new area you can edit, at least I do this often at gmail. chilehead
Each email program has some things that are different from other email programs, but they are basically the same. Here are some general instructions for emailing: Go to your email account. Click on the word that will allow you to write a new email. This word cold be "Compose", "Write", or "New" then "Message". In the area that says 'To' you enter the email address of the person you wish to send the email to. Put a subject in the line that says 'Subject'. Type your message in the body area of the message, usually a large white space. Don't forget to check spelling and to add a signature. Then click on 'Send' to send your message on its way!
