The June 6, 2012 Venus Transit was visible in the Philippines despite some clouds and haze specially during the Ingress time but later cleared out from greatest transit time till Egress times. Over a 6 hour 40 minutes duration, Venus trek across the solar disk and appearing in silhouette as a slow-moving tiny black dot more or less about 1 arc minute in size. Venus transits occur in pairs that are eight years apart, but these dual events take place less than once every century. The last one happened in 2004, and the next won't come until 2117! Full reports and activity images will be posted soon as lots of submissions needs to be sorted out for the time being. Nevertheless, below is the Venus Transit Photo Gallery that includes submissions by members of the ALP. Reports to follow in a day or two.
