About 15-20 MPH
so that they can ease into speed
Common cars can't do highway speeds (65 mph) in first gear and many have rev limiters.
cars and vehicles Multi-speed bicycles
All American cars with a 3 speed manual have the same shift pattern. The pattern is in an H. Reverse is to the left and up. First is the the left and down. Second is to the right and up and 3rd (top gear) is to the right and down.
I dont as such drive, but can ride a motorbike manuall, but you use the numbers 1 to 4 as you progress in speed, upon average your first gear is to start of(10-15 miles an hr) as you gain speed you change up a gear,as you slow down you change down gears.

I want to know how a manual transmission gear ratio worked. What ratio give the car mor power and what give the car mor speed.
The first gear is larger than the others. As the gear has larger radius the speed of rotation is low. As the gears keep on increasing their size decreases resulting in increase in speed of the vehicle
Well, an exact number will depends on your RPMs at idle, the gear ratio of that first gear, the gear ratio of your rear end gear, and tire size. Generally, five MPH or less.
synchro second and third gear, not first gear
Cable too slack.
No because both cars are going the same speed. Changing the size of a tire effectively changes the gear ratio the car drives in. A larger tire will gear the car up and so it will have a higher top speed.
