I want to know how a manual transmission gear ratio worked. What ratio give the car mor power and what give the car mor speed.
Mercedes Benz put some of those in Hitler's parade cars
I dont think manual transmission cars use transmission fluid.
If you buy a standard then it will be a manual transmission. If you buy an automatic, then it will be automatic.
The advantage of a six speed manual transmission over a automatic transmission is you control the shifting. Now this can be a good or bad thing. It depends on how exprienced you are at driving and how well you know your car. Another advantage is that when you are driving or racing on a track you have another gear to go unlike other cars.
Ummm yeah! They are usually cheaper than cars with an automatic transmission
Manual
NO.....any 96-99 Taurus SHO with a manual transmission was a conversion. There were no factory manual transmission cars.
They were manual transmission's Automatics did not really hit the scene until the late 1950s
Yes, there are. You can choose from many makes when you prefer cars with manual transmission.
3,000 mph But really most auto equipped cars loose several % off the top speed compared to their manual equipped equivalent.
No, automatic transmissions may shift faster than a manual transmission because it takes a lot of skill to race and change gears using a manual with a clutch, however, the manual transmission allows you to decide exactly when to shift for more speed at the times you need it and for better engine performance when done by a skilled, practiced, professional racer.
In simple terms it is like an automatic transmission in a car. Your riding mowers will either have a hydrostatic or a (5, 6 or 7 etc..) speed transmission. As it sounds the 5, 6,or 7 speeds are like manual transmissions on cars.
