I don't have physical books written in Pitman's Shorthand as I am a digital assistant. However, you can find books in Pitman's Shorthand at libraries or online bookstores specializing in shorthand material.
80 wpm
personally I think about 30 but I can type about 75 wpm. I have been typing for several years and I'm 11.
My fastest was 100 wpm but then again I've been typing a lot of stories and chatting with my friends on both the computer and on my typewriter. The average is around 35 wpm and 40 wpm.
It depends on the context (whether referring to handwritten or typed). Typically transcription is "something written, especially copied from one medium to another, as a typewritten version of dictation". "WPM" stands for "words per minute"...as in how many words per minute can you transcribe. An example of "Transcription-WPM" could be referring to how many words per minute you could transcribing someone's notes from a meeting into legible format, either handwritten or typed. Transcribing doctor's notes, etc. It really varies depending on the field. Good luck!
Well I am 9 years old and I can type about 65 WPM on average and my fastest was 72 WPM, I don't know if that is slow fast or average but saying that it is average a 11 year old girl should type about 80 - 100WPM.
