You forgot to say if it is a 4 cyl or the 4.0L 6 cyl. Obviously the 4 will not last as long since it has to work a lot harder to move the same amount of weight. I know I have seen the 4 cyl usually blow a head gasket as the most common problem somewhere over 100K miles. A 4 cyl should easily last between 125-150K & the 4.0L should easily last over 200K before needing major attention. The most important thing is to make sure to change oil regularly! I also like to use a good oil. I have started using mostly full synthetic in all my motors especially in the cold weather & very hot weather cause it flows better in cold & protects better in all temps. But I would say if this was done & the other regular maintenance, these are probably average spans I have seen. My thoughts are if I take very good care of my cars, they will take very good care of me. I like to change parts BEFORE they break!
A 2001 Jeep Wrangler uses orange extended-life antifreeze. This allows the vehicle to be driven up to 150,000 miles before changing the coolant.
At least 200,000 miles.
What kind is it the aisin 5 or the ax-15 the ax-15 will last you forever
With proper maintenance, probably around 200,000 miles
12/13 min
I have 140K on a 2002 Explorer and plan 3 more years.
Not sure of life span, but i have a 1975 that's got an original motor at 88,000 and it runs/drives like new.
The life span of a Meerkat is about 12-15 years old. They can live to an estimated 10-14 years.
Honda, Toyota, and Nissan about the life of the vehicle. GM about 60,000 miles (crappy).
Looked after is should go for 300k miles
The life expectancy of a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport is 16 years. To get the full life expectancy out of a vehicle it should be properly maintained.
