First, let me offer a little advice. Asking "What is the average room temperature for old people" is a little rude. Saying "old people" appears derogatory and disrespectful. Try "older people" or "senior citizens" to show a little more tact and diplomacy. Maybe try to have a little more respect for your elders. No, they aren't perfect but they do deserve a chance to prove that having been around a long time has taught them things you may want to learn.
As for your question, specifically, it sounds like your intent was to find out what temperature most older folks, who suffer from a variety of aches and joint pain, would be most comfortable in. Generally, room temperature and above. The definition for room temperature is open to debate but is typically considered to be from 69°F (18°C) to 82°F (28°C).
This is why many warmer climates in the United States, like Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Florida, etc, are popular homes for retirees. The summers can be uncomfortably warm but the winters are more temperate and easier on aging joints and those who suffer from Arthritis.
I'm the 'old person' referred to in the question (age 72). So that's OK isn't it?

About 10 degrees Fahrenheit below room temperature.
98.6

The average temperature being 98.6 F is really a myth. The doctor who published this as the 'average temperature' didn't always measure the mouth temperature of his volunteers, he used various other methods too. 98.6 is really a ballpark estimate of the actual average temperature of everyone. Also, some people have always just had naturally higher or lower temperatures than the 'average'. With 6 billion people, will they all really have a temperature of exactly 98.6? Basically, having a temperature of 96.9 is no big deal, especially if you've always had that temperature. It's only a problem if your temperature is above 99.5 or 100, or below 95.5.
It is a liquid and its old fashioned name is chloroform.
Christ..........YES! Get them to the emergency room!
The average body temperature of any human is 98.6oF so it should be around that number.
Probably like 98.6
No. Port should be served at room temperature.
