Hyundai is notorious for not using the "right" color for their automotive wiring. Regardless of what your manual says, the color of a wire is NOT a guideline to go by on a Hyundai.

Why you would want to does this is a mystery. If you insist, remove the bulbs.
The wiring diagram has four wires. Brown wire for parking lights, green and yellow wire for for stop light and white wire for common ground.
Light green, the darker green is the right turn signal.

The brake light on a Hyundai Santa Fe is replaced by removing the retaining screws, twisting the bulb, and unscrewing it from the wiring harness. A new bulb is then installed and the assembly put back in place.
The backup light switch is under the air filter assembly. You'll have to remove the assembly to get at it. There are only two wires on top of the transaxel assembly. One is a very obvious ground wire, the other is the backup light switch. Have fun, you'll need a 10mm wrench and a 12mm wrench for the job.
There is no adjustment for the backup light switch. The switch must be broken or the fuse is blown or the bulbs are blown or the wiring is damaged.
There is a backup light switch on the transmission.
The light switch in question is located on the back of the transmission towards the battery. You can change it yourself, just make sure you understand the wiring and if you need help ask.
