Molecular Biology is the study of biology at a molecular level. This field overlaps with such areas as biology and chemistry, particularly in line with genetics and biochemistry. Molecular biology specializes in understanding the interactions between various system structures of a cell--thus a great benefit in studying this subject. By studying and understanding cell structure, one can analyze and perhaps come up with theories of understanding and research that help lead to specific conclusions toward cell structure, and genetic findings and solutions that help mankind.

Molecular Biology is super important. I am actually majoring in cell and molecular biology, but I'm barely in my first year so I don't know everything I could yet. Its all about how DNA turns into RNA and how RNA turns into protiens. Everything in the body is effected by this. This subject relates to any other branch of biology. When DNA gets mutated this changes RNA. RNA is basically the codes for making protiens. If that gets messed up the proper protiens don't get made. This will cause all kinds of cancers and disorders. Molecular biology also deals with genes and how they get expressed. Understanding molecular biology is the only way to understand how they body works and why things happen in the body the way they do.
