Read your manual, or request a free catalog from Marlin. Factory load is always what they recommend.
This would be best left to a qualified gunsmith to do.
Winchester 150 grain 30-30.
Slugs! If its rifled it is a deer hunting barrel.
depends on the use. Hunting? paper or home protection? Federal Winchester or Remington make ammo for this. There are surplus ammo you can find at a lower price them commercial hunting or match ammo. Make sure the surplus ammo does not have corrosive primers.
Best would depend on intended use. Federal makes good 30-06 ammo. Soft point for hunting, FMJ for target use.
No.these are 2 very distinct cartridges, that are very different in length and power. The best thin to do is purchase a marlin model 94 cowboy in .45 colt, and then you will have the best of both worlds.
Due to the current lack of availability, you best shoot whatever you can find. Beyond that, CCI and Wolf make fine ammunition.
The answer depends on the weapon and the use. If you are looking for duck hunting ammo then the answer is different than the ammo used to target shoot at long range. Please give WikiAnswers enough information to answer your questions.
150 grains plus preferred, but not the Buffalo Bore 190 grain hawk bullet ones, as the are not made to properly mushroom on deer. The 30-30 is the all time #1 gun for deer hunting, and virtually everyone makes ammo for them...but I always leaned to the Hornady 160 grain FTX LeverEvolution or the Federal Premium ammo. You will have to buy as many different brands of ammo as you can afford and shoot them all to see which your rifle prefers. I would not go lower than 120 grains. Fixdeluxe1's Improvment:If you can get it,I recommend 150 Grain and up.Try Winchester ammo its one of the best and if Remington does 30-30 them too.
There are varying opinions on what ammo is the "best." Generally speaking, the best ammo to use is whichever ammo is the most reliable in your particular gun.
Federal premium ammo
For minimal damage but still good stopping power i would say either a 5 or 6 shot 12ga. Although if your not going to eat the animal a 3 shot is the best
