There is a lot of debate about "what food is best".
Hollistic, organic, and all natural foods are always best. Don't buy food with by-product meal in it. You want the protein to be above 30%, and the fat to be 12% or below. If your hedgehog has trouble keeping on weight, you might try a food with higher fat content, like BlueBuffalo healthy living adult (chicken/rice) which has 18% fat content.
