I have a 760 watt amp powering 2 10" subs and it works fine. my brother has a 1000 watt amp powering 2 12" subs and he got a capacitor. So it really depends on what amp your looking at. if the 760w you wont need one, if the 1000w i would be safe and buy a capacitor. for the 1000w amp you would only need a 1 or 2 farad capacitor.
Yes it is but you will have to turn the knob on ur amp to full power your speakers will not work at there best of coarse and last but not least turn your bass on cd player on 0 for clearness
it depends on alot, alot of things. but id say to be safe a 2000 watt. but the best amp would be a sundown saz1500d
The best way to hook up a single 12 inch dvc to a 1200 watt amp is to use an MTX thunder box.
It depends on the car. Ive had a 1200 watt amp in my durango and my explorerand dident have any problems. It all has to do with what power the alternator can produce. If you have a car, i recomend gettng a cap, if you have a SUV or truck, id say don't worry about it. But that's my opinion from personal experience
To be completely honest, you may just want to buy a separate battery for your amps. I did competition stage 2 for about 2 years, and my capacitors always drained and blew. Your better off spending that money on a separate battery just for your speakers..-Shocker
on a 4000 watt amp the best gauge wire woul be between 2 and 0
1200 Watt wiring is more than enough for an 800 Watt amp. The rating of the sub doesn't make any difference to the cables. If you want to use the sub to its rated power you should get a bigger amp. If the amp can only give out 800 Watts and the sub can take 1100 Watts then you can put a bigger amp on. It is still going to be loud as with an 800 Watt amp. I have a 300 watt amp with a 1200 Watt sub and people hear me coming.
Yes because the cap will store the power and give it that extra boost when need be but depending on the type of vehicle you have you might need a bigger battery
The fender bluse junior. It is a 15 watt tube amplifire.
I know it is not the "best" by a long shot, but for the money my Kicker zx 1.1000 sounds good and is not too pricey. Cadence makes a fantastic amp also. But the best Ive ever had was the old school U.S amp 1000 watt, that thing was a beast. heard phoenix gold amps although I had a power acoustik amp for 7 years no problems
All car speakers will go well with a 500 Watt amp, but for the best effect, get a power subwoofer.
