I use benydryl, I can feel when my hives are about to breakout, so I take 1 benydryl, if the hives are really bad, like when my lips swell or my eyebrows swell, I take 2, and if its really bad and I wanna just sleep it off, I take 3, never more than that, to keep them away I take 1 every 4-6 hours, I have tried Zyrtic, Claritin, and other antihystamines and nothing else works, the price I pay for taking a medicine that actually keeps them at bay, Drowsiness...all day long...I just dont know what else to do, I hope this helps you, I wish someone would have helped me out with this info when I had it bad...
