1st gen s10 frame.standard cab long bed is best.short bed 2 short
The frame on the 58 is a straight rail frame. The frame on the 70's drops in the middle. It would not be a simple bolt in application.
No.
A long block. A short block would be without the heads.
Not sure what year you are working on, but yes, typically all the bolt holes will be in there in the frame. When I was a kid my dad used a 4x4 Suburban frame to make a 72 Chevy pickup a 4x4. All the holes were there, he just had to cut the excess from the frame rails.
A Chevy s10 short box reg. cab 113" wheel base I have a 1938 Chevy shop manual and it says that the 1/2 ton has a 112" wheelbase and the 1991 s10 short box reg. cab that I'm using for my 1938 Chevy truck has a 113" wheelbase. I also changed the 4 cyl eng for a short block 350 in the s10 donor frame. Good Luck send pics or questions Tom
An example of a finite amount of time is having a short time frame to complete a task.
73-87 c10 truck frames will fit with minor ajusting
Your answere is YES it will and its been done many times google it;;Wayner
Nothing would be a bolt on fit. Fabrication would be necessary.
The A in frame is long
No !
A K1500 4x4 short wheelbase is the closest. The wheelbase of the caprice is 116" and the K1500 4x4swb is 117.5". I'm looking to do the same with an 87 caprice. Seems like a surburban frame with a section cut out and boxed may be the way to go. as the frame looks similar to the caprice
