I know many dogs that can jump high. But for me, the best jumper is an Alsatian, a Border collie and an Irish wolfhound.
As you see every day nearly, Alsatian is used by the police force, and they are trained to jump over walls. I love dogs, and I've read in every dog book that I have, Alsatians are great jumpers, but they're backs are quite sloped at the end. That is the main disadvantage, including that they can be quite aggresive.
The Border collie, as i should know, a great dog. In fact I have one myself. My Grandad has six of them, and every day I see them jumping through the fences and gaits at his farm. They are intelligent, beaautiful, loving, kind, loyal, and mainly, they're not aggresive. But they will bite the dog that's aggresive with them.
All I know about the Irish is that it has long legs.
