It depends on who's standards your going by, how old the Mac is/what operating system it's running, and what the Mac is used for.Generally, 2 GB is considered pretty standard and good for everyday use.
If the Mac has an Intel processor (if it is not too old it will do) it can be downgraded to use the Windows operating system. This can be done with Mac OS X's BootCamp utility or with virtualisation software such as Parallels or Fusion. (See links below)
Any of those in the image (and some newer models).
you have to restart your whole operating system and then it will revert to the old operating system. you have to restart your whole operating system and then it will revert to the old operating system.
2003 Windows is to old of an operating system and needs to be updated.
If you can find drivers for that operating system for your hardware, then yes.
The mac laptop!!! i have one and i am 12 its the best computer in t he world!!!
if you formatted it no, you would have to reinstall the old OS again
Depending on condition, operating system installed, amount of memory etc. an old eMac will usually fetch around $75 - $125 (£50 - £100).
The best operating system depends on what family of operating system you wish to use. Macintosh requires a lot of resources so that is completely out of the question. The best families to look into is obviously windows, but Linux may also be a better choice. The best windows operating system that has been the most successful for working on lower end computers and surpassing "the old OS's (95, 98, ME)" is Windows XP. XP can run on even the most basic of computers. The best advice to make it run most efficiently is to max out the RAM on the motherboard. Another alternative to a windows operating system is Linux. Pretty much any Linux 'distro' (or distribution of the operating system) can run on a PC platform with even the smallest amount of resources. I know that the recommended system requirement for Dream Linux is a 20 GB hard drive, 733 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM.
Under the old classic Mac OS a file could have a Data fork and a Resource fork but with Mac OS X both resources and data are included in a single directory called an Application directory or simply a Bundle.
