wood elf is what I would go for They are the best archer class in the game and all elfs are good at magic and a wood elf is also good with sneak You could also go with the cat race They are the best thief like class and are good arcary

∙ 12y agothe best race to use weapons and magic on skyrim is dark elf if you are planning on using on handed weapons if you want to use two handed weapons all races aren't very good at all

If you're talking about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, then you will get visited by the Wrath of Sithis at night, and no one will see him. Like other spirits, you have to use silver, daedric, or magic weapons to hurt him, and you can't go back into the sanctuary without being attacked until you kill him. In the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there are no tenets, so you don't have to worry about that. You have 3 chances to get back in the DB, and if you break the tenets again you're permanently kicked out.

In Oblivion, there is a sect of monks, known as the Order of the Ancestor Moths, who devote their lives to the reading and interpreting of the Scrolls. The more advanced members who actually read the scrolls wear blindfolds at all times when they are not divining the Elder Scrolls, and are instructed to use their eyes for this purpose only. Retired Moth Priests are completely blind and continue to wear the blindfold, apparently for ceremonial purposes.
