China has the longest continuing civilization in world history, therefore your question would need to be much more specific. Is there a particular period in history that you are looking for, or a certain event?
Add to that the fact that there are many different opinions about what happened that long ago and about how much of what is recorded is actual fact or creative fantasy. This makes finding any good site a difficult task. Also, most of these sites seem to be filled with wild speculation or biased opinions by the non-Chinese people who wrote them.
I would strongly recommend that you choose a particular event or period within Chinese history and then go to your local library to find a few books on it. Preferably ones that have been translated from Chinese originals! It may seem boring to you, but it is a much better and more reliable way of learning!
Please bear in mind also that when studying Chinese history, one should be aware that the details of one dynasty or time period was generally written at the start of the following one, and as such the details and facts of events were frequently obscured to make the current rule look much better to those living in that time!
