I would say a hamster because they are cute, fluffy, and they eat all of the vegetables you don't want to. They are relatively easy to take care of and they can't escape too often.
i would actually say gerbils because they are very nice and energetic and curious and if you have two hamsters in a cage together they WILL kill each other
Any rodent could be a pet, as long as it was bought from a pet store to ensure it didn't carry diseases. I have several friends with rodents as pets. One with rats, which I find totally gross, Long slinky tails! I've seen mice as pets before but I don't like the thought. I would recommend hamsters or gerbils. Hamsters are a lot calmer ( in my experience). Gerbils will sleep in the day and come out to play at night. Hope this helps
Rodents all in all are good pets, but it depends on what you mean by a GOOD RODENT. Hamsters are small and cute, but are easily lost/killed if taken out of their cage and are lost, and require less care than say a guinea pig, which require a bigger cage, more food. Rats are good too, but watch for their claws, as they may scratch you. all rodents have similar quailties. For more info, ask a local Petsmart/ Petco/ pet store employee who may know more info.
Any rodents that you think are the best. Do some research before choosing a lil critter.
all pets are not easy to take care of but the guinea pig will be the best rodent pet
you should get a hamster for a rodent pet
The pet rodent which has the longest lifespan is the Guinea Pig. They readily live between 5 and 7 years.
Comrat!
ferret
try on e-bay and search for rodent or go to a pet shop. They sell Mice and sometimes ferrets. it depends what kind of rodent you want.
Maybe something small for littler children. A cat, or a dog or something like that may give them a little responsibility. But a large pet takes a lot of looking after! The best pet for kids would be possibly a dog or a rodent, such as a rat.
