I have a 2002 silverado(6.0) with 153'000 and i use valvoline full synthetic dex V1.I dropped the transmission pan and cleaned it along with a new filter on each of my last 3 oil changes. What a difference! Each time i changed it i could tell a big difference.the transmission is more responsive and shifts really crisp.I will be doing again on my next oil change one more time for good measure.Highly recommend the use of full synthetic Transmission Fluid!
You remove the transmission dip stick. You will need a small funnel that will fit in the tube where the stick goes in at to check fluid level in transmission. Put fluid in there.
how do you check transmission fluid level in a 2001 chevy metro
straight down the dipstick hole. (the dipstick you removed to check the fluid level)
Pull up the dipstick, wipe it off, reinsert it, pull it back out, read the level.
That is a 4L60E / 4L65E
dexron 3
Yes there the same.
Red.
cAN YOU LEGALIZE A 2001 CHEVY SILVERADO IN MEXICO?
Most Minivans are front wheel drive and a 97 Chevy Silverado's are rear wheel drive, you do the math.
You can locate the transmission fluid leak on your 2001 Chevy Metro by looking at the transmission fluid on the ground. Look above the transmission fluid stain and you should be able to see the source of the leak.
