Drive behind some stores, such as Best Buy, Sports Authority, etc., to find some large boxes. They discard these all the time. These will give you large cardboard material to work with. Then just form the cardboard into the size box required for your pictures (cutting and tapping the cardboard as needed). You can make a very protective box this way. Make sure to put something in between each picture frame to keep them from rubbing against each other. Even if they seem to fit tightly together, they WILL move, and will cause damage.
