i have had migraines for many years. the one thing that helps me is a warm glass of curdled milk and vinegar. hope this solves your problems.

Well i went to the doctors and they said migraines are caused by stress and from the moment i knew i was experiencing migraines i stopped getting them

Stress is usually a pretty big factor, so try to reduce the level of stress by meditating and exercising. You need to get enough rest, eat a healthy diet with fruits and vegetables. Decrease the amount of caffeine and alcohol, increase the foods with magnesium (cashew nuts, soybeans).

Reduce exposure to intense stimuli- visual stimuli such as looking at computer and TV screens for a long time, bright lights; avoid extreme sensory stimuli such strong noises and smells.

Keep track of the supplements and medications you take. Ask your doctor about the effects they might have on your migraine.

Make sure you have enough Magnesium in your system Take it on an empty stomach or it will bind with fat and make soap like substance. Too much Mg and you will have a loose bowel, start small and increase till loose stool and then back off. If the Migrane first happened when a female started menstruation ( having a period) then the probable cause is from the Pituitary gland. Maintain a regular sleeping schedule. Lack of sleep, too much sleep or inconsistent sleeping hours are two of the biggest causes of migraine. Having a fixed sleeping schedule will help your body relaxed at the right time and stop undue stress.

You can lay in a dark , quite room, or like me , I get nerve blocks to stop mine I get it done at my Drs ., office, and they last from 4-6 months at a time.
