Yes. Almost anything west of the Great Dividing Range is plains, though not necessarily treeless. The Great Dividing Range runs down the eastern coast from Cape York in the far north to southern Victoria and western Victoria to the Grampian Range. While there are mountains and low ranges located sporadically west of this, the remainder of Australia is essentially flat.

Australia's main plain is called Nullarbor Plain. The Nullarbor Plain is a vast, almost treeless semi-arid plain in Australia's south, just north of the Great Australian Bight. The area of the Nullarbor extends about 200,000 square kilometres.

The largest plain in Australia is the arid, treeless, limestone region of the Nullarbor Plain. It extends for about 270,000 square km above the Great Australian Bight in South Australia and Western Australia. Nothing is cultivated there, and in many respects its aridness places it within the category of desert.

Two of the better-known fertile plains in Australia are the rich agricultural regions of the Liverpool Plains and the Darling Downs. The Liverpool Plains cover about 5000 square kilometres in the North West Slopes area of New South Wales, while the Darling Downs extend for an area of about 77000 sq km in southern Queensland, just west of the region unofficially known as the Southeast.

There are many more plains in Australia than these.
