Once, in an old village in Scotland, everyone was happy. The river near the village gave bountiful fish, and most of the people there were sheep or goat herders. Everything went fine until one day, the villagers saw a dog, apparently a stranger in those parts. It had blue fur. After the mysterious hound's arrival, the river stopped producing fish, and all the goats and lambs began dying of an unknown disease. Naturally, the villagers blamed the hound for this and attempted many methods to try and drive it away, but none of them worked. In a last attempt of freedom from the ghostly hound, the villagers got into touch with a sorcerer, offering the best house in their village, if he was to do the deed they couldn't. He tried various enchantments to drive the hound away, but none of them worked. At last, the sorcerer cast a spell which would cause all the dog's teeth to fall off. But it was not powerful enough and only was able to make one solitary teeth fall out of the dog's moth. Suddenly, the dog gave a yelp and ran away, never to be seen again. Then the sorcerer discovered that the fallen tooth could grant wishes. He was a hero among the villagers, he got the best house there, as per the agreement. A great number of people came seeking the sorcerer to have their wishes fulfilled. But, according to legend, on one stormy night, strange, unholy screams came from the sorcerer's house, prompting many of the villagers to brave the rain and reach the house. They then saw the sorcerer's body, ripped to shreds, and the tooth lying in a pool of water. The tooth's whereabouts are unknown. It is also unclear whether the tooth was destroyed. Apparently, each wish made using a tooth sent signal waves, tuned such that the hound was able to pick up the source of the wish, thereby locating the sorcerer, the legendary hound unleashed its fury.

i am not sure about that but i just finished the book today it said the river stopped giving up fish and the sheep started dieing of an unknown disease ever since the dog came the sorcerer used a spell to take out all of the dogs teeth but it wasn't strong enough it only took out one tooth and the dog ran away it is said to grant wishes and on a stormy night there was screaming and howling at the wizards house and they braved the storm and ran up to find out what was going on and found the sorcerer torn to pieces and the dog's cursed tooth was in a puddle.
In Scotland deep in a forest, you will find it. If you can tame one, you shall aquire powers beyond even the wildest dreams...
I dont think that they are real. I just finished the book and it was just a legend of a dog that scared people so a sorcerer came and put on a spell to take all its teeth out and one day the people found the sorcerer torn to peices

There was a small city in scotland. The rivers gave fish and they herd sheep. It was pretty normal actually until a blue hound dog come and the rivers have no more fish the sheep started to die some villagers blame the wolf for their bad luck Lots of people chase the wolf away but it keeps coming back. Villagers have offered a wizard the best house if he could make the wolf go away. His spells are weak against the wolf. He tried a spell too make all of the wolf teeths fall off but the spell wasn'nt strong enough he only manage to get one tooth out.
Huckleberry "Huck" Hound .
No, The hound that killed Charles Baskerville by giving him a heart attack and tried to kill Henry Baskerville was bought by Stapleton so it would look like the curse was real and nobody would suspect him when he tried to claim the baskerville fortune since he was in fact a Baskerville himself. So it was a hound but not the hound from the curse or legend as you might call it.
