Bolt spacing where the bellhousing mates to the back of the engine.
There are adapters for everything.
Depends.if the bell ( where it covers the flywheel behind the motor) is a bog block.or small block bell housing. Like a small bell housing will bolt to a 302 and big bell.housing will bolt to.a 460
yes, a small block C6. out of a rancharow. Thoes had a 302 C6 . not a big block C6 . and a custom drive shaft. that dont cost to much. !!good luck!!
If the C6 is the big block version you may have to hammer the tunnel to make it fit. If it is the small block version it will fit with no modification.
Yes. The transmission from a small block must be at 351 Windsor , And C6 transmission if the transmission is a c4 . It will not work
Well, depending on what year or years you are talking about, the transfer case should bolt up to the transmissions extension housing. Although I am not sure I would do that as I am 99% sure that a transfer case from a small block application is considerably less durable than one from a big block application unless you have a case from a 3/4 ton pickup that was powered by a small block. But either way as long as you are only trying to interchange the transfer case it should work. If you are trying to interchange the transmission and transfer case as a unit then no it will not work as the big block has a larger bell housing pattern then does a small block on Ford applications.
No the 390 is a big block the 302 is a small block.
no! the bolt pattern is totally different . only 4 bolts will line up and torque converter patterns are different. you can get adapters and correct torque converters. ford offered the c6 auto for the small block but it had different stall speed settings than a big block.
Depends on the C6. The 360 is from the FE/FT big block ford family. If the C6 came from behind a 331-428 big block, it will fit the 360. The exception being the 335 series big block trannies (351 C or M, 400) or the 385 series big block trannies (429, 460). The 335 and 385 series big blocks shared a bell housing (with some rare exceptions in the 335 family which had a small block bell housing) which was rifferent from the FE/FT.
NO
You need a C6 transmission
