The 402-cubic-inch V8 is nothing more than a 396-cubic-inch bored out by 0.030. the 396 had a bore of 4.094 in and stroke of 3.76 in. So the 402 had a bore of 4.124 in and stoke of 3.76 in.
327 Chev smallblock bore is 4.00"/ Stroke is 3.25". Just to compare , a 350 is 4.00"/3.48"
A Chevrolet V8 engine with 3.736" bore and 3.48" stroke and tuned port injection.
A Chevrolet V8 engine with 3.736" bore and 3.48" stroke and tuned port injection.
depends on the bore and stroke of the engine. The volum of a cylinder is: ∏r²*h Aermacchi 350= 344 bore: 74mm stroke: 80mm radius (bore/2): 74/2=37 3,14...*37mm^2*80mm=344 067/1000 = 344 now reverse it: 396*1000/80mm/3,14...= √1575,63...= 39,694...*2 = 79,388mm To make an Aermacchi Sprint a 396 you would have to bore out from 74mm to 79,4mm. Now do the maths on your own engine. Multi-cylinders? multiply number with cylinder-count (344 067/1000*4) and divide next (396*1000/4= 99000/80 etc S.
BORE is 3.740 and the stroke is 3.480
Bore 4.250" Stroke 4.00"
4 inch bore, 3.5 inch stroke.
4.312 bore x 3.50 stroke.
4.00 bore 3.48 stroke
The bore would be 4.310" and the stroke is 4.00"
bore 3.497 stroke 3.81
