Where is brake bleeding valve on a Ford Focus?

There are four. One at each wheel. Look behind each wheel and you will see the calipers on the front wheels, and you will see either calipers or a backing plate on the rear. On each caliper there will be a bleeder screw at the top, and if you have backing plates on the rear wheels, there will be a bleeder screw sticking out just above the center.

How do you bleed a clutch on a 1985 f350?

This works on clutches and brakes and I have never known it to fail. The bleeder screw is on the slave cylinder on the transmission. Get a piece of tubing that will fit over the screw and put it over the screw and the other end in a container with enough brake fluid in it to cover the end of the hose. Loosen the screw a turn or two and slowly pump the clutch pedal. Watch the master cylinder so that it doesn't run dry. One full master cylinder of fluid should be enough to bleed the clutch. With the clutch pedal up, remove the hose and tighten the bleeder screw.

Where is coolant bleed screw on 1997 grand prix gt?

Where are the rear bleeder's located on an 86 cutlass supreme?

If by "rear bleeders" you mean the wheel cylinder brake fluid bleeder valve for the brake system look behind the backing plate (that's the part that has the brake shoe's attached to it). Jack you car up & support it with jack stands crawl under the car at the rear end look on top of the rear end housing & you'll see the brake lines that run to the wheel brake cylinders. Usually just above where they attach to the wheel cylinder is the bleed screw. Be warned if the cars that old spray some penetrating oil on them (W-D40) and wait for a little while... I've broke off my share.

How do you change brake pads on a 1997 Mountaineer?

Remove wheels Reinstall 2 lug nuts to hold rotor in place Remove caliper mounting bolts Look for a bleeder screw at the top of caliper( looks like a small bolt with a hole in it) carefully open the bleeder. Place a small hose over top of the bleeder and place the other end in a cup partly filled with break fluid. Remove the caliper Carefully use a large c-clamp to retract the piston in to the caliper Close the bleeder screw Remove and replace the pads (taking care to place the friction material side of the pads towards the friction surface of the rotor) Replace the caliper over the pads Insert and tighten the caliper mounting bolts Repeat for the other side Top off break fluid in master cylinder PUMP BRAKE PEDAL TO SET PADS AGAINST ROTOR PRIOR TO MOVING VEHICLE

How do you disassemble a slave cylinder for a 94 Ford Probe SE?

the slave cylinder is easy to replace. you cant dissassemble it. to replace it simply look down where the engine and transmission meet from under the hood. you will see a line and a bleeder screw. from there just disconnect the line, plug it, and remove the two bolts holding it in. installation is reverse. just remember to bleed the air out of the lines by cracking the bleeder screw and have someone pum the clutch until the air is out
