I think you mean cap and rotor, those are ignition parts, the distributor cap sends the spark out to the plugs, it has wires leading from the top to the spark plugs, the rotor goes inside the cap, and rotates around delivering the spark to the wires in a timed sequence.
On top of the distributor. The thing with all the plug wires coming out of it.
It is located in the fuel rail very close to the fuel injectors it will have a plastic cap on it
My Jeep Wrangler is like that. I'm going to try and dry out the dist cap in the house and reattach....maybe?
twist it to the left and pull geez
nevermind i found it,
the gas cap is located underneath the license plate bracket the plate usually pull downward to reveal the gas cap
check your crank position sensor.
back of the oil pan Inside the last main bearing cap.
its on the valve cover right behind the oil fill cap..
I usually have to use a large pair of channel locks to get it loose. The key operative word is GENTLY apply enough pressure to grip but not too much to risk breaking the cap. I have a 91 Wrangler & this works for me.

I replaced the crank sensor and the cam pick up that is under the distributor cap and still the wrangler wants to stall or back fires and bucks at 1200 to 2000 RPM when accelerating
