actually after a while of research i found out that massacusetts is one on the many states that do NOT have a state vegetable.....they do however have a state bean, the Navy Bean, which is used in Boston baked beans (yum)
Boston is the capital. Falmouth, cape cod and bourne are big places. New Bedford is famous for waleing. sandwich and Lakeville are important. Springfield is western Massacusetts. Mattapoisett, Marion, and Rochester are a tri-town. Fairhaven and Dartmouth are big on the east. *fact....marion used to be called sippican *fact....Rochester used to be present-day mattapoisett and present-day rochester combined.
