Your vehicle has an oil leak somewhere..............
No, any smoke is coming from the engine. No, any smoke is coming from the engine.
The engine is burning fuel.
Yes, on some vehicles it can.
Salt that is used to melt ice in the winter does not damage asphalt. It can cause the asphalt to turn white if too much is used.
There isn't a good way to tile over asphalt. Because of temperature changes, asphalt expands and contracts on a regular basis and this will cause the tile to crack. Also, tile will allow water to get through and cause a problem with freezing between the asphalt and the tiles.
It can cause a rough idle. And it will also cause the engine to die when coming to a stop at times.
The main cause is in cold climates water gets into a tiny crack and then freezes and expands causing the crack to get larger and then when cars drive on it it will eventually cause the top layer of asphalt to break off. In warmer climates the constant wear of vehicles and heat from the sun dries the asphalt and causes the top layers of asphalt to crack, which can widen from rain water. Little cracks like in drive ways are usually caused by roots which can cause cement to crack and break up. To read more see attached link.
Asphalt workers were potentially exposed to asphalt fumes that could cause headache, skin rash, fatigue, reduced appetite, throat and eye irritation, and cough. They are also exposed to heat, bright sunlight, both of which can cause burns. Sunlight plus asphalt fumes can also result in a solar sensitivity that far exceeds sunburn in its effects. In addition, asphalt workers who work on roofs are subject to fall hazards.Asphalt workers who work on roadways can be subject to the following hazards:struck by or run over by construction equipmentfalls from moving vehicles, or down slopes near the work areastruck by passing private or commercial vehiclesweather (lightning, hail, etc.)
you are still pouring oil into it---stop!
Bulb is blown or has been removed.
Yes on most 1996 and later vehicles, the computer will set a code if the engine is running at too cold a temp.
The year, make, model and engine size would help us help you. In older vehicles (pre-fuel injection) vapor lock was an issue.
