That annoying false door ajar alarm and light! Good news it's likely an easy fix.
This is for a 1998 Ford Windstar.
An easy fix. Just spray WD-40 inside the door latch, start with driver door first and soak it well! The switch is in the latch! After spraying with WD-40 open and close the door over and over to work in the lubricant. Then do the passenger door and rear hatch the same way. The alarm will cease when you get the correct door, but might as well do them all.
For the slider door, the four plunger sensors and the contacts may need cleaning. You can use some fine sand paper and just polish both the plunger switch end on the four contact points inside the door. This is to insure they make a correct electrical contact.
If none of those easy fixes work you may have a faulty switch or wiring and you likely need to take the car to the mechanic. If you just remove fuses other things will go wrong so don't do that! Sorry if the WD-40 doesn't work then you need to go to a mechanic that can handle electrical problems.

Also - If you have a malfunctioning "door ajar" switch, after some time, the Windstar will deactivate the interior lights. Fix the door ajar warning and the lights will resume normal functions. To the right of the headlight switch is a gauge light dimmer wheel , if that has been rotated all the way up , your courtesy lights will stay on with the doors closed. If you also have a door ajar light lit up in your gauge cluster , then you may have a sticking door ajar switch , or something isn't closed properly
